On Sunday 2nd June, our scheduled competition was unable to take place. In its place, Sussex ran a referees course, which produced 10 new referees and 4 promotions, which is a marvelous boost for this area of the sport. And then, Sussex held a 2-hour randori session, attended by 47 players from various clubs across the south.

In the first week of January, Sussex County is sending 10 selected players from one of its squads to a training camp in Belgium,
The trip, organized by James Draper, is the first planned for 2024 and is subsidised by the County.
The players concerned have already been notified by James Draper.
